Coach Smart is the Director of Baseball Operations for Rock Creek Sports as well as Rock Creek Select. He has coached at every level of baseball from youth ball to college where he served as the hitting and infield Coach at Bellevue College.  Coach Smart teaches hitting and infield to his students at Rock Creek.

Jason Carey
Hitting Instructor/Head Coach RC Select 14U

Coach Carey played shortstop for two-years at Green River CC before accepting a scholarship to play at Benedictine College in Kansas.  Played in the Region V Championship game in 2006, also helped the Benedictine Ravens to their 9th and 10th conference championships.

Ryan Smart
Hitting & Infield Coach/GM 14/15/18

Coach Ryan Smart is the Operations Manager at Rock Creek Sports and Rock Creek Select.  Coach Smart was a first team All-NWACC at Bellevue CC  before accepting a scholarship to Charleston Southern University  in South Carolina in the Big South Conference.  Coach Smart teaches hitting and infield for his students at Rock Creek.

Billy Boyer
Hitting Coach

Coach Boyer was an All-State player from Enumclaw High School and turned down offers from such schools as Arizona and Washington when he was drafted by the LA Angels in 2003. Coach Boyer vaulted up the levels of pro ball finishing at AAA before retiring in 2007.  Coach Boyer is an assistant coach at Pierce College and the head coach of the Rock Creek Select 18U program. Coach Boyer teaches infield and hitting to his students at Rock Creek.

John Estes
Pitching Coach

Coach Estes played at Skyline High School where in three years at the varsity level posted an 18-0 record for the Spartans.  He then accepted a scholarship to powerhouse Cal-State Fullerton for Coach Dave Serrano where he won a College World Series in 2004.  Coach Estes is also the pitching coach for the 18U Rock Creek Select team.
 
Duane Henkel

Youth Pitching Coach 

Duane grew up locally and was a 4 year letter winner and All League Pitcher at Renton High School, before moving on to pitch for Bellevue CC and receiving MVP honors following his sophomore season. He has been coaching area pitchers for over 18 years and has coached several championship teams. In 2006, Duane won the ESPN MVP Award for his work with youth baseball. Duane is currently a pitching coach with Tahoma High School and Rock Creek Select.

Bailey Stenson

Fastpitch Hitting Instructor
Bailey Stenson attended Auburn High School where she played 2nd base and shortstop for the Trojans for four years. She then went on to play for the Huskies from the 2007 season through the 2010 season. In that time she had the opportunity to win a National Championship (the program's first) and a PAC-10 Championship and was personally awarded all Pac-10 Honorable Mention for her performances in the 2008 and 2010 seasons. While in college, Bailey, a left-handed hitter and right-handed thrower, played all three outfield positions while making a few appearances at 2nd base. Currently, Bailey resides in Seattle and enjoys helping young girls learn to play the game they love and she has a passion for making the game fun.
